Invest in IT before Christmas, small businesses urged.
Invest in IT before Christmas, small businesses urged.
Many small businesses will be looking to invest in technology solutions in the run-up to festive season, it has been claimed.
According to ARA Content, enterprises can benefit in a number of ways from purchasing small business solutions during November and December.
The news provider claimed that retailers may discount some devices in a bid to take advantage of the Christmas rush.
As a result, businesses may be able to buy new PCs, laptops or accessories at a discount.
ARA claimed that buying now can lead to productivity gains when everyone comes back to work after the break.
"Upgrading technology gives employees faster, more efficient tools and allows them to save time, which ultimately means saving money," the news provider stated.
It added that new solutions provide enhanced IT support, and this can help people work more effectively.
"If a business is still using Windows XP, upgrading now to Windows 7 Professional means there will be no disruption to access to technical assistance when support for the Windows XP operating system ends in April 2014," ARA added.
Forrester Research expects total IT spending in 2011 to have totaled more than £1 trillion, breaking through this barrier for the first time.
